Learning to Master the Time Space Adventure of The Gaia Game

Since this may be a new concept to many of you, some explanation may be useful. The two scenarios are connected in a story in which you are already a player. The only question is if you recognize that you are playing a part in a story that for the most part, you are concocting. Most people at this point in time believe they are observing the world around them as something separate from themselves. You may not believe that you are designing your "reality" and that it is simply a mirror of your predominate beliefs. You may even think that you need to deserve a good life to have one.  

In reality you were born worthy but some people must work very hard to feel deserving. While it is not necessary, these individuals will need to work hard so they can feel they deserve what they want. Do you believe you need to pay a price for success? That is what most others would have you believe because they believe it. They may even think their efforts or those of their families make them superior to you. None of this is true.  

It may seem frivolous to you to say that you are "in reality" playing a part in a story that you are making up. You can be assured that there is no REALITY for you beyond what you believe it to be. It is not anything real in fact. It is a fiction - like a waking dream - in your mind. It seems very real of course because you and most everyone around you have agreed to play a similar game with similar rules. However consider that everyone you know has a slightly different set of beliefs - all of which they believe to be true and an expression of reality.  

In the same social group there is great pressure to have at least similar beliefs but I am sure you can always find people whose ideas you strongly oppose. Are they wrong? You might say yes from your perspective but from theirs, you are the one who is wrong. We would suggest that there is no wrong or right. There is only choice and belief. You are not evaluating and judging the world around you, you are creating it. You will create whatever life for yourself that you are willing to believe in.

Why Is It So Useful To Approach Your Life As A GAME?

Why call it a game? Because anything goes and choice directs all of the action. The scoreboard is the feeling of satisfaction or lack of satisfaction experienced by your character. The problem with taking life too seriously is that your character will get all bummed out if it makes a blunder or think it is being punished by a challenge. With the game idea, you can approach things like an adventure where your objective is to find the best way to move in the direction you desire. There is no judgment.  

As we suggest in the book, KARUNA HUM, approaching your life as an adventure game is an approach that offers you a great deal of freedom. As Deepak Chopra eloquently builds the case for consciousness "created" Virtual Reality in his book, the fact that all limitations and opportunities you may believe in are simply what you have decided to believe in becomes clear. Enlightenment or "waking up" is simply the realization that you can change your mind any time that you want to. Change your mind, change your world. Becoming intentional in how you change your beliefs is the skill you must learn to create the path for your personal adventure that you actually want.  

The key to being a successful Time Space Adventurer is to stop excepting appearances as reality. You are living in a waking dream and those appearances only represent the beliefs that have brought you to that moment. What you need to learn is that it is you who is writing the story and in any moment you can begin a new chapter. This is the plot of the Gaia Game and gaining intentional control of your personal reality is you objective as a Time Space Adventurer.

Marianne Williamson suggests using ‘the power of the mind’ to change Hurricane Dorian’s course.

This has generated many amused and sarcastic comments from media and the general public alike. 

While the power of prayer to affect outcomes is claimed to be accepted by a great many people, it seems that since Williamson is running for President, faith in her promoting prayer as an option is absurd to any actually rational person. 

“The Bahamas, Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas … may all be in our prayers now,” Williamson tweeted, according to images posted by several Twitter users. “Millions of us seeing Dorian turn away from land is not a wacky idea; it is a creative use of the power of the mind. Two minutes of prayer, visualization, meditation for those in the way of the storm.”

In response to people who found the statement foolish, Ms. Williamson’s campaign responded by deleting the tweet.  “It was a metaphor,” Williamson spokeswoman Patricia Ewing said in a statement. “When others speak of prayer and the mind it’s considered profound, but Williamson is held to a different standard”.  I personally think Marianne Williamson should have been more like our current President and double down on her statement regardless of how it might be criticized.  I happen to believe that many in this country and around the world do believe prayer can have an effect on shaping reality.

Do you believe your thoughts/prayers can alter Reality?      

Ms. Williamson believes this and nothing in science can prove it false.  In fact ideas arising out of Quantum Physics are affirming that consciousness can have an impact on the results gotten in an experiment. 

There are some famous photographs by a Japanese scientist named Dr. Emoto.  His series of photos were of various water samples, and they clearly demonstrated the power of thinking on “reality.”  He divided the samples into groups and then had his volunteers direct their “thoughts” at individual samples.  Here’s the revealing result.  The photographs taken of water molecules exposed to “positive” thoughts formed beautiful crystal shapes.  The water molecules exposed to “negative” thoughts became chaotic, with no patterns forming.  Same water; the only difference was how some random people “thought” about them.  Thoughts of love and appreciation resulted in beautiful patterns forming.  Send hate and anger toward those same samples, and all the beautiful patterns breakdown. Order is lost.  That belief is not a part of the reality most people live in.

To someone with no appreciation for the power of consciousness to influence the future, Williamson’s ideas would of course seem ridiculous.  One should be reminded that much of what we accept as simple fact today was once considered ridiculous by most.  As the inevitable evolution of human consciousness continues, those who thought Williamson’s “power of mind” idea ridiculous will likely be viewed simply as less informed or individuals less conscious of the actual workings of reality.  Not enough of us have reached the level of acceptance of our actual capabilities to appreciate the power of prayer and in a future day they will be simply be considered less evolved primitive thinkers.

We sat down with Dr. Dyer in Tampa, Florida, and talked about current topics both metaphysical and mainstream, from the law of attraction to laws about gay marriage; from the impact of Lao-tzu to the impact of Barack Obama; and from how we are failing future generations to how we can best serve them.

Hemachandra: Starting with The Secret, which has reached such a wide audience, the emphasis in today’s popular understanding of the law of attraction is predominantly about material wealth. What are the consequences of that kind of skew to this teaching?

Dyer: First of all, I think the law of attraction has been misstated. You do not attract what you want. You attract what you are. That’s how the law of attraction works.

Twenty-five centuries ago in ancient China, Lao-tzu said there were four virtues. If you live them—if you live in a place of God-consciousness—the universe will give you God-consciousness. If you live in a place of ego-consciousness, though, the universe will give you more of that.

One virtue is reverence for all of life. You revere all life. You never kill, you never harm, you never wish harm, and you never have thoughts of harm directed toward yourself or others. Another virtue is natural sincerity, which is manifested as honesty. Just be honest with who you are. Don’t pretend to be something you’re not. Don’t be a phony. Walk your talk. That’s how God works, so doing it is emulating how Source works. The third virtue is gentleness, which manifests as kindness toward all others.

The fourth virtue, which is relevant here, is supportiveness. If you say to the universe, “Gimme, gimme, gimme,” which is what a lot of the work around the law of attraction says because of a misinterpretation, then the universe gives you back what you offered out. You get more “gimme, gimme, gimme.” “Gimme” means you don’t have enough. You have a shortage. The universe just keeps giving you more shortage because of what you’re thinking and saying.

If, on the other hand, you say to the universe again and again, “How may I serve? How may I serve? How may I serve?” and you live a life of constancy reflecting that principle, the universe will respond back, “How may I serve you?”

Hemachandra: With an approach centered on lack and need, even if you are getting things, the feeling of shortage keeps coming back to you. So no matter what you get, you still always feel the need, don’t you?

Dyer: Exactly, and that’s why I say you don’t get what you want, you get what you are. When you live the virtues—when you live in that place of God-consciousness—all these rules we have about cause and effect, beginnings and ends, don’t have any impact or relevance. As Joel Goldsmith said, in the presence of the God realized, the laws of the material world do not apply.

That’s why people who live steadfastly at a place of God-consciousness can perform miracles. They can create. They can make virtually anything happen. From the space in-between, that last inch is the critical inch you have to take to reach that place. Every once in a while, I get to that place of God-consciousness, and miracles do happen.

Today you are creating a new day.  Reality springs forth from your consciousness.  The reality you dream into being blends with those dreams of all the other divine beings you are sharing this physical space with at this moment in time to create a world that has never been before.

GENESIS

All that is emerges out of nothing.  It was a very BIG bang when the formless infinite energy field of consciousness imagined form into existence.  Prior to that moment it was a self conscious field of energy occupying no space at all since it had yet to create space.  It simply was.  It was discovering itself as consciousness with the imagining of shapes and sizes and material possibilities.  From limitless it imagined limits and time.  The dreams and considerations of pure consciousness flashed into seeds of forms that would grow into worlds beyond number of infinite variety as it played with the possibilities.  With that one great desire nothingness became something.

In that moment it discovered itself.  In that moment it gained a purpose.  The development of this physical, time and space “place” became its passion.  This physical realm was its child, its offspring, its first beginning.  It would create a magical place that would be powered by its unlimited ability to provide whatever was needed to be sustained.  This “Universe” would be balanced by a few very basic laws.  Every part of physical form would be actively connected as a point of awareness to all of non-physical consciousness.  The more complex the physical form, the greater the amount of awareness and connection between physical and non-physical.  Whatever the physical forms imagined would become their physical reality.  Any action they initiated would result in an equal and opposite reaction to maintain the balance of the whole.

Non physical savored this new reality of feelings and amazing sensations.  Whatever it appreciated about Creation blossomed and expanded.  Those things it did not give its attention to lost their energy and faded from experience.  Some things came to be for a short time just to point the way to a more satisfying experience.  Many would come and go in a never ending cycle of renewal and regeneration.  Little improvements would be made with each generation of a form.  Everything constantly evolved into more sophisticated and beautiful forms.  Non physical was eternally focused on the development of itself as physical forms because it was through these physical forms that it found joy and wonder and substance.  Points of individualized consciousness anxiously awaited a chance to get into the game to either just enjoy the experience or actively create new stories for the game world. 

Though momentous physical events were always occurring in the adventure world of physical form, there was only appreciation that was experienced by non physical.  In the physical space of the adventure worlds not everything was always perfect – in fact nothing was ever perfect because that would mean that Creation was over and the fun would come to an end. 

For those points of consciousness getting to directly experience the physical, there would often be some dissatisfaction with “reality”.  Things certainly didn’t always go as planned for the physical characters they created for themselves.  But then, of course, that was why they got into the game.  They came for some challenge and adventure.  A billion game worlds had been created for them to adventure in and create whatever they desired.  They just needed to learn how to channel their creative power and see past the surface of things that were just a representation of past ideas and imaginings.  They needed to learn that they were each a player with access to all of the skills and powers that were woven into the fabric of the game.  They needed to realize they had nothing to fear because as infinite eternal energy they were really only pretending to actually be in the game anyway.  It was all just for something exciting to actually “do”.

The Designer of Reality Adventure

The Designer of Reality™ Adventure Program is a transformative catalyst in the inevitable raising of individual and eventually global consciousness that will result in a significant evolution of the human species.  

For centuries the human species has been dominated by the physical world.  The mission of the Designer of Reality™ program is to remind people that they have been creating the physical world all along and that it is the result of and not the cause of their beliefs about existence.  In 1903 Allen published As a Man Thinketh which was loosely based on the Biblical passage of Proverbs 23:7, "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he".  It was not until nearly a century later that it became undeniably clear through science and experience that this was literally true.  Whatever you believe in heart and mind will become physical reality – all of physical reality is totally a figment of the imagination.

This program introduces the idea that a human being is actually an extremely sophisticated “avatar” given consciousness by an unbounded energy field that is the source of all elements of the physical world.  Each avatar has been given a chance to play a part in a grand adventure interacting with and literally creating the ever evolving physical world.  From the moment of birth each avatar begins to create a character to play in the adventure.   As a natural part of this development, a belief in separation develops as one must define their own character.  The challenge is that it is very easy to get caught up in how one believes others see them.  The tendency is to just become part of what psychologist Carl Jung called “the collective unconscious”.  We begin to simply react to what’s going on instead of controlling it.  We begin to think the life story we are writing with our imagination is the result of the physical world instead of the cause.  If we settle for the collective unconscious belief about reality we are subject to limitations of all sorts.  This is why the Designer of Reality™ Adventure Program is so important – it reminds us that we have complete control over everything in the physical world and we only have limits if we accept them.  We are here for the adventure of discovering how good we can get at intentionally creating the wonderful world we imagine in all of our hopes and dreams.

Everyone is a Designer of Reality by default or intention.  This Adventure is about learning to claim and master your unlimited power to create the reality springing from your imagination into physical existence.  Like anything else you want to excel at, it takes practice and discipline to be in control of your imagining and create what you really want rather than what you don’t want.  The Designer of Reality™ Adventure Program is a guide to staying on the path of least resistance at the leading edge of Reality.  The program shows us why we can’t get it wrong and that the positive evolution of Spirit is unstoppable. As a very important note, the program also reminds us that there is never anything to fear because while we will go through many avatars during our adventuring the point of consciousness that is our true being is pure energy and inseparable from the timeless unbounded energy field that is the essence of all Creation.

What's the Story?

I recently presented a program on life goals and dreams for a bunch of middle and high school students in Coral Springs, Florida - Project Leadership 22.  This is a great program established by Scott Brook, family law attorney and former Mayor of Coral Springs.  Over the years, Scott and other mentor volunteers of which I am very pleased to be one have hoped to inspire and encourage hundreds of middle and high school students refine their personal goals and give them knowledge that may be missing from the traditional classroom.

Now for my story – each of the students were given the assignment to write an autobiography of their lives 5-10 years from now.  They were to state what they really wanted ignoring any perceived obstacles or “realities”.  So, I thought I should practice what I preach and tell you my story – we are in this adventure together so it is appropriate that I let you know what is happening.

It’s July 16, 2020, a day before another birthday with a number attached to it that is inconceivable to me.  The reason it is inconceivable is because we have be taught so much about what happens as you get older and I happily have never bought into the “reality” that most people seem willing to accept.  My parents both lived more than 25 years past the mark I am about to hit and did in quite good health up until very close to when they decided to exit the stage.  A big part of it is they both filled their lives with love and thanksgiving AND positive expectation.  They never stopped looking for new things to do and experience.  They never thought they were done.  Those really are the secrets to happy healthy living.  I guess I am lucky to have had such good examples to live by.

For me, the thing that fills me with energy and “life” is the excitement of helping other people have more fun and happiness in their lives.  All it takes is a shift in perspective – a reevaluation of the nature of Reality.  It started for me really back in my teen years when I first realized how easily your personal “reality” could be altered.  Over the years it became very obvious that there were as many “realities” as there were people and most everyone totally believed their version was the accurate one.  At first in defending your own version, you think, they can’t all be right.  Then came the revelation:  they were ALL exactly accurate regardless of how different each person’s perspectives on life are.  How can this be?  It is because REALITY is totally the invention of consciousness and we each have an individual consciousness even though we are all linked as parts of an unbounded energy field that is the source of manifesting all the physical realities we imagine into being.

For a world of individuals believing in separation, this was all a bit hard to grasp but with the ongoing evolution of consciousness on a planetary level, the ideas began to become more prevalent.  It all became very clear to me probably a decade ago after absorbing ideas from people live Richard Bach who wrote one of my all time favorite books, “Illusions”, the story of a reluctant messiah who we get to spend time with as he flies around the country side from small town to small town in a small airplane.  His message is very much the same as other messiahs and just as often misunderstood.  Here’s the bottom line that I came to believe very firmly:  whatever you believe to be reality IS reality because your consciousness is the creator of your personal reality.  Of course it is going to be similar to the reality of others in most cases because few of us can or would want to totally insulate ourselves from all of the beliefs of others, after all, we do all have to try and live together – we all are connected and affect each other. 

The secret is THE CHOICE IS TOTALLY OURS.  We can pick and choose what parts of the collective perception of reality we want to be a part of shaping our life.  It’s all make believe.  None of it has any real substance except what we attribute to it.  Everything is in your imagination.  This is why statements like “knock and the door will be opened” or “ask and you will receive” have been some of the most misunderstood messiah messages ever.  All you have to do is substitute the word BELIEVE for “knock” and “ask” and the message becomes much clearer.  That’s all it takes.  Imagine what you want… believe it is coming to you… know what it looks and feels like with no doubt about its REALITY even before it has become part of your physical reality and nothing can keep it from materializing into your world.  For many people that is still just not reality in fact plenty of people think that concept is flat out delusional and maybe even crazy dangerous.

Anyway, those ideas resulted in my first book some years back.  It originally was called “Transforming Reality”.  Then it became “Finding the Path of Least Resistance at The Cutting Edge of Reality” – I guess I really got that from my appreciation of the ideas coming through the Abraham-Hicks materials (which I definitely recommend for any life adventurer).  Finally it became “The Designer of Reality Guidebook™”.  That has set the course for me.  It has become my passion to help people realize they can do anything they want in their lives.  To let them know no one is judging them and they can’t get it wrong but they can constantly become more accomplished creators of exactly the reality they want for themselves. 

My courses, that have become hugely popular, all deal with becoming a kind of modern day wizard actively shaping all the experiences of their lives in line with what they want to experience.  I have promoted the concept of considering yourself and adventurer designing and creating an ever more loving and enjoyable environment.  The adventurer part is key because you are not always going to get things right immediately.  You are constantly learning new things and finding more things that you want to be different than they currently appear.  The fun and satisfaction comes from imagining improved realities and then learning to believe them into physical form.  The obstacles and challenges will always be there to some degree because those are the essential sign posts helping you define the path toward the constant refinement and enhancement of your story.

For me personally, this has all been a dream come true over and over again.  My life has been filled with so many great adventures and they keep getting better.  You cannot find anything more satisfying to do than something that helps others have more satisfying lives and adds more love and joy to the world.  I get to travel all over the world to share these ideas with people spreading joy and prosperity everywhere I go.   I have always loved traveling so to be able to go so many great places and get paid to do it is truly a dream come true.  And, of course that’s my message: Make all your dreams come true!  Why not?  It’s totally up to you if you are willing to believe it.

So what else is in store?  A couple more books are in the works and maybe a movie that will expand on the idea that we are all playing a virtual reality game as an avatar for our Soul Self.  Besides being what I think is a fascinating concept to see take form on a movie that would be actually a reflection of what actually happens in each of our lives as we write and direct our own adventures.

I also want to touch on my involvement with “Playing For Change”.  People familiar with my personal story will know how important music has always been and particularly live music presentations.  Some years ago I fortunately discovered Playing for Change.  This organization has a mission of adding wellbeing, joy and love and hope to the world through music.  This is truly a merging of my passions.  The joy of music directly used to create improved visions of reality.  I look forward to doing all I can to support and extend that mission as it is exactly what I want to be the result of all of the seeds I want to plant wherever I can find ground ready to receive them. 

The evolution of consciousness is ongoing and unstoppable.  My heart and Spirit are constantly uplifted and energized as more and more people realize they are the designers of their reality and we all can have a lot of fun helping move everyone toward an ever improved and harmonious reality.
