From the beginning of our campaign, we’ve been talking about America’s moral repair: caring for vulnerable children, economic and criminal justice, repairing the earth, paying reparations for historical wrongs, providing people with the healthcare and education and release from economic burdens that they are entitled to, and balancing military preparedness with the waging of peace.
Conscience leads us do those things, and it will lead us to do more. It is a moral argument which will ignite the spirit of our country and initiate that season of repair. In speaking to the nobility and the intelligence of the American people, I have seen firsthand how much power lies in creating a politics of love.
In the coming days, you will hear more about how we are going to rev up this campaign and blast things open over the next three months. It is time for a whole new level of power now.
With your help, our campaign is going to strike from deep within the heart of the American dream and become a light that is like no other. The fear in our midst will stand no chance against the arousal of the American heart.
