If you spend all your time being grateful, you will get more and more to be grateful for.

Thanksgiving Puts You On The Road to Success
                                                                By John Brodie
November includes my favorite holiday – Thanksgiving!  Why is it a favorite?  Because taking some time to focus on thanksgiving – assessing all of the things you have to be grateful for- is a wonderful way to build your confidence and optimism and success.

Most of you have probably realized by now that if you focus most of your time on things that are not going as you want them to in your life, it can be depressing.  If you allow yourself to get depressed, that can sap all of your energy – particularly your creative energy.  Depression breeds deeper depression – it is a self fulfilling prophecy.  Pretty soon you start thinking you are a victim and that you have no control over the lousy hand of cards life has dealt you. That of course just brings you more of the same and things will continue to get worse or seem worse even if they are not.
So, how do you get out of this spiral of not having a good time?  You need a change of Mind!  That’s where THANKSGIVING comes in.  It’s about changing your attitude and breaking a non-productive cycle.  If you take the time to focus on things you are thankful for it will chip away at any feeling of depression or hopelessness.  The more you focus on the things you are thankful for the better you will feel.

Everyone can be thankful for a sunny day, a good friend, a good meal… take some time to find a bunch of things you can be thankful for and spend some time – ideally at the start of your day and as often through the day as possible – feeling good about those things.  As you are working on projects or handling your daily responsibilities, take the time to be thankful for each success along the way.  When you pay a bill say to yourself, “I’m glad I got that paid”.

Here’s the thing – the more you can stay focused on “feeling good” instead of “feeling bad” the more energy you will have to keep things going the way you want them to go.  There is a great song by Bob Marley called “Three Little Birds” – it has a great message:  “Rise up this mornin', Smiled with the risin' sun, Three little birds pitch by my doorstep… Singin' sweet songs of melodies pure and true, Singin': "Don't worry 'bout a thing, 'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!"  Listen to the song.  Just singing it to yourself can help you get that “thanksgiving” feeling going.

If you want to get the most out of life and “Be Happy” (another very useful song by Bobby McFerrin) catch yourself every time you start feeling sorry for yourself and find some things you are thankful for to think about.

Taking time to pay attention to every little success or good thing in your day will propel you to days filled with positive accomplishments and joy.  Happy Thanksgiving!

Law of Attraction says, "That which is like unto itself is drawn." Which means vibrations are always matched. So as you experience the contrast which inspires the new idea within you, this new idea —this desire — whether it is a strong one or a soft one, is summoning unto itself proportionately. And as it summons, it is always answered. It is the basis of our Universe: When it is asked, it is always given. The confusion that humans feel is that they think they are asking with their words — or even with their action — and sometimes you are. But the Universe is not responding to your words or your action. The Universe is responding to your vibrational calling.

Who am I?

I am starting to make some distinctions about who I am.  The me that is always talking in my head is who I think I am.  The trouble with that is that "me" is just a construction the Spirit unbounded I am has put in charge of this body that I am adventuring in.  This local me functions on this world stage based on beliefs I it has created based on appearances and ideas from other entities that have been interacted with.

The trouble with all of those beliefs is that they are mostly about limitation and seperateness.  Everything has a label (name).  Things happen to me.  And all day and night long, that ME voice keeps defining and judging and reacting to what it has decided is real.  The problem again is that the reality the me is believing in is only real because of the belief.  Change the beliefs and you change reality.

That is not easy though because me believes everything that it believes and each belief continuously reinforces itself by generating evidence of its truth and reality.  They are all self fulfilling prophesies as like attracts like through the Law of Attraction.  So, if you can change the way you think about things, you will change your life experience.  This is not easy because me has invested a great deal of big brain thinking power to decide what reality is and as a very material world entity, me has a hard time thinking anything that can't be seen and touched - experienced directly by the senses - is real.

Luckily there is one sense that can cut through the illusions - the creations of me.  That sense is emotion.  Emotion is the sixth sense.  It is like a guidance system.  Moving in the direction of and believing in any way can be evaluated by how good or bad it feels.  Those feelings are provided by the Real BIG I Am that has me playing this virtual reality game and often believing me is out here all on my own fighting for survival.  I am actually supposed to be working to move the shared belief in what reality is to a happier more wonderful place and inspire as many others as I have the opportunity to join me in positively advancing creation.

Another reason this is often such a big challenge is that me believes you can't get anything without effort.  Effort implies resistance and that is what makes it different than action.  Belief in resistance is ME's biggest blunder.  It's the big obstacle built into the game.  I guess that means it is important and necessary.  It is a factor that if we can learn or remember how the game really works - we are here as creators given the ability to create what ever we believe we can create - we stop believing that life is a struggle, that we have to fight our way ahead.  That's why the best definition of Enlightenment is the realization that resistance is an illusion.

I think me has to ponder on that a bit...

A Life Adventure - Introduction

This is the story of a Life Adventure that is unfolding as I write these words – you are in the midst of creating your own story as you read this and new chapters are being written each day by both of us.  Whether you recognize it or not, you are writing a unique story right now and this story and yours are intertwined in an elaborate tapestry of creativity.  It is hard to always be clear on why we are here and it is very easy to get off course.  There are no accidents... nothing actually happens by chance.  You are doing it all... we are connected in the real reality and we are out here on the cutting edge of creation trying to become really good players at this game we have chosen to play.

Why are we here?  For an adventure.  It’s like why you – in this 4D reality - play a video game or get involved in any new adventure… it’s for the fun and excitement.  This is a challenge.  We are each powerful creators and we are actively building on all the creation that has proceeded us, attempting to move it forward… attempting to add new energy and excitement, joy and fun to the collective adventure.  Not everyone is here for that of course – some of us are here to challenge and test the rest of us – the bad guys and bully’s are important to us if we are to build our strength and skill as guardians and builders and caretakers of the Universe.

So, nice to meet you – we share a great adventure, a heroic quest of vanquishing demons and becoming masters of the magic of deliberate creation.  We are at the leading edge of all creation, right here, right now.  Moment to moment we are creating new realities whether we choose to accept the responsibility or not.  This story is about learning and discovery and hopefully has a happy ending.  It’s our own choice of course.  Now, one important note:  the voice that is constantly talking in your mind and may be saying all of these ideas are goofy is not you.  It is just a bio-computer output that is constantly scanning, labeling, storing impressions, interpretations and opinions that it is exposed to.  IT believes it knows all about reality but its limitation is that it believes “reality” happens to it.  IT accepts no responsibility for what’s going on and even if it does “intellectually” - it still can have great difficulty getting around appearances.  If a doctor tells you that you have six months to live, that bio-computer that you have created to control your avatar in this game has a hard time saying and BELIEVING that the doctors declaration does not have to have any credibility – you can reject that outcome and do something else.

It is a difficult situation.  You have created this persona with the help of input from parents and friends, social media... the barrage of information that has shaped who you think you are and put it at the controls.  You do need it to operate in this virtual reality world we inhabit.  The problem is that all of us start to believe everything it says and since the basic program we have to work with is designed to protect us from threats – it would rather hide in a cave to be safe than to boldly go where no one has gone before – we are more likely to expect the worst rather than the best and that then becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

And so, here we are with my particular life story – not that unlike yours although the events were things I dreamed up – we may have only slightly affected each other or some of us may have been prominent characters interacting in this play. The hope is that together as we share this journey, we can each work on rewriting some of the story line and help our avatar and bio-computer do a better job at shaping "reality" and performing our part in the adventure.

Keep the Force Flowing!

Every cell in your body has a direct relationship with Creative Life Force, and each cell is independently responding. When you feel joy, all the circuits are open and the Life Force or God Force can be fully received. When you feel guilt or blame or fear or anger, the circuits are hindered and the Life Force cannot flow as effectively. Physical experience is about monitoring those circuits and keeping them as open as possible. The cells know what to do. They are summoning the Energy.

What is Real?

One eminent physicist put it this way:
“What makes up things are not more things; what makes up things are ideas, concepts, information. The more we learn about the nature of the universe, the more it’s starting to look like a giant thought or a dream.”

A TRANSFORMATIONAL MEDITATION FOR SEVEN DAYS

A TRANSFORMATIONAL MEDITATION FOR SEVEN DAYS

1.  I am a powerful creative being open to positively transforming my life.  The world all
around me responds to the energy I am transmitting moment to moment.  In my mind’s eye I
build a vision of how I want my life to be.  I live in an abundant and infinite Universe.
A Mantra –Om Bhavam Namah—I am absolute existence. I am a field of all possibilities

2.  With each day I accept more and more my true ability to shape my own reality.
Whenever distress or fear or uncertainty comes into my awareness, I consciously move my thoughts
to appreciation.  As I take time to consider all of the things I am grateful for, I am recharged with
energy to radiate to the world around me. I see this positive energy flowing out as a blessing to all
I come in contact with.  I see all that I need and want flowing back to me along the waves of
positive energy I am radiating.  The Universe responds with energy and inspiration to manifest my
wants and desires into my personal reality.
A Mantra –Sat, Chit, Ananda—Existence, Consciousness, Bliss

3.  As I accept that I truly have great power as a transformational being... that I have the
ability to convert an image in my mind into a tangible manifested reality in my life, my joy
and excitement continue to increase.
A Mantra –Om Daksham Namah—My actions achieve maximal benefit with minimal effort

4.  I know that many may still see themselves as victims living an uncertain and unfair life but
through the joy and love I radiate, I help them move in the direction of personal positive
transformation.
A Mantra –Om Kriyam Namah—My actions are aligned with cosmic law

5.  As I radiate more joy and enthusiasm, love and thanksgiving, I become an ever more
powerful magnet attracting people and events that bring me new opportunities to
contribute to the positive transformation of the world around me.
A Mantra –Sat, Chit, Ananda—Existence, Consciousness, Bliss

6.  I am a joyful part of a growing force, an expanding community generating a powerful
energy through a shared vision of positive transformation.  I am one beacon of positive
energy but like a drop of water in the ocean, I am directly connected with all of creation and
can draw to me everything I need in the creation process.  As I share my vision of positive
transformation with others of like mind, our ability to affect the world as a whole increases.
A Mantra –Om Ritam Namah—My actions and desires are supported by cosmic intelligence

7.  As I stay centered on joy and good feelings, wellness and prosperity spread wherever I go
and in all I touch.  I am truly blessed with the awareness of this positive transformational
power and grateful for each opportunity to share it with the world.
Moment to moment, my life is filled with enthusiasm, abundance, love and joy.
I gratefully radiate the energy of positive transformation to all around me.
A Mantra –Om Vardhanam Namah – I nourish the universe, and the universe nourishes me.

In optimism there is magic.

We're asking you to trust in the Well-being. In optimism there is magic. In pessimism there is nothing. In positive expectation there is thrill and success. In pessimism or awareness of what is not wanted, there is nothing. What you're wanting to do is redefine your relationship with the Stream. We do not ask you to look at something that is black and call it white. We do not ask you to see something that is not as you want it to be and pretend that it is. What we ask you to do is practice moving your gaze. Practice changing your perspective. Practice talking to different people. Practice going to new places. Practice sifting through the data for the things that feel like you want to feel and using those things to cause you to feel a familiar place. In other words, we want you to feel familiar in your joy. Familiar in your positive expectation, familiar in your knowing that all is well, because this Universe will knock itself out giving you evidence of that Well-being once you find that place.
